Which injectables are right for me?
A desired result starts with a thorough consultation. Prior to treatment, we’ll discuss your expectations and recommend a course of treatment that’s right for you. We offer BOTOX® Cosmetic, Juvederm® and Platelet Rich Plasma Injections performed by a Nurse Practitioner with nearly 10 years of experience. After all, most of the success of cosmetic injections depends on who’s behind the needle. We also use product that comes directly from the manufacturer, you never have to wonder about the quality.

PRP is platelet rich plasma. It’s injected into areas in need of repair, usually on the face, to specifically address issues like surface wrinkles, skin texture and fill areas where volume is needed. PRP stimulates your body’s natural immunity and defense to build collagen and fibrin.

Botox is not a filler, it’s a muscle relaxer. Botox relaxes the muscles underneath your skin that pull the skin and creates a deep wrinkle. If you think about scowling or frowning, that’s what we treat with Botox, because it relaxes the muscles.
PRP is a filler and a volume builder. You get some initial volume when you inject PRP into your skin. Then it takes the body some time, over several weeks’ time, to build natural volume with fibrin and collagen.
Generally, you will see some results after one treatment. We usually recommend two, about 4-6 weeks apart and then we reassess. We have patients we’ve treated with two and they’ve had fantastic results. We’ve seen people treated with three and they get even better results.
PRP works on the idea of stacked treatments so one treatment builds on top of the other. When you do a treatment with PRP, the results from that treatment are permanent. But if you think about it, you’re only going to get a little bit of results from one treatment, so you want to think about doing a series so that it builds on those results. But the short answer is that it creates permanent filler.
We think it’s a great idea to combine PRP with the Spectra Hollywood Peel. As part of our treatment layering approach, you’ll get added benefit when you combine these treatments. PRP builds from deep under the surface of your skin in the dermis layer, whereas the Spectra Hollywood Peel does a great job addressing the surface of your skin and stimulates collagen and builds fibrin in the epidermis.
Blood is drawn and run through a centrifuge to separate the blood components from the serum, which is rich with micronutrients, white blood cells, collagen and fibrin and injected directly into tissue in need of healing by stimulating your body’s reparative stem cell production. If you’re looking for a natural and gradual anti-wrinkle treatment with the benefit of a natural filler, then PRP injections are the way to go.
BOTOX® Cosmetic
Fine lines and crepe skin can be treated with a laser, but when you have deeper lines or furrows in between your brows, on your forehead or you notice crow’s feet starting to appear around your eyes, it might be time for BOTOX®. Repeated gesturing like squinting your eyes in bright sun, frowning or raising your brows during a captivating conversation with friends as well as repeated sun damage can all contribute to facial lines. BOTOX® works by temporarily relaxing the muscle responsible for these gestures.
Deep lines can happen at any age. Most start thinking about anti-aging treatments in their 40s but done sparingly in your 30s, BOTOX® can be done as a preventive measure.
Over the next 24-48 hours you’ll notice a visible smoothing of frown lines, crow’s feet and brow lines. Results typically last up to 4 months so you’ll have to continue treatment in order to keep that refreshed look. Treatment is fast so your initial consultation and first treatment can be done in a half hour.
JUVÉDERM®
Sometimes deep lines are caused by loss of volume. JUVÉDERM® hyaluronic acid filler that adds volume in different areas of the face. Use it to volumize cheeks, smooth vertical lip lines or plump your lips for a youthful look. Results are subtle and immediate and can last up to a year.
